It'due south times like these that I call up why Lydia is i of my favourite bands. They produce such nifty music and take such high energy. Earlier this year, they released their 5th album, Devil (which is an amazing album) this B-Side is just every bit good. Honestly, this EP has been replayed all of these terminal few weeks. I just can't enough!
The EP starts off with Nosotros'll Never Die which is an okay vocal, but it gets tarnished by the background music which is mode too loud when the vocaliser is singing. In Do You lot Remember, there'due south an intense sense of panic that makes everything, especially the guitar parts audio very rushed. Lydia ends the EP with two acoustic versions of their most famous songs on their album, The Exit and Devil. Unfortunately, these acoustic versions don't do the originals any justice. They both audio contrived rather than their signature relaxed mood.
However, What's the Worst that Could Happen? is probably the song that best describes Lydia'south music now and that's actually comfortable and very calorie-free. The song is actually pretty wearisome and starts off repose with bang-up drumming and lovely lyrics. I feel like Wish You Well could be the second part of Back to Bed because it'south also just as sweetness. All of the "oh ah oh oh's" don't bother me, they feel perfect and go well with the song.
Devil B-Side is a lovely EP that I recommend to everyone. My favourite songs are What's the Worst that Could happen? And Wish You Well only all songs are fairly good minus their few flaws. They're all adept for remembering the skillful onetime summer days and summer loves. Ii things Lydia does well.

From Indian Lakes is from Yosemite Valley, California. The band released their debut full-length record, "The Man With Wooden Legs" in the Wintertime of 2009. A beautiful rainy day well-nigh the sea. That's what this album brings into my heed. It'due south sad yet wonderful and of course this is a masterpiece. With smoothen, rhythmic tunes sung with perfect execution by atomic number 82 vocaliser Leighton Altman and back up vocalist Mindy White. Throughout the album, lead guitarist Steve McGraw shows his talent and experience with large amounts of solos that are each completely different from the other. Lydia's arroyo to music this time effectually leans more towards new territory. Comparison this album to their others, it's evident that they are branching out towards lighter, more playful music. This is the case with,RunawayandHurry Dorsum Tonight.At starting time, I didn't mind it but later on two minutes of the very repetitive, "oh woah woah" and, "come on, come on" I had to change it earlier my head exploded.
At present, onto the Happier parts of the album! Lydia is known for their exquisite talents of painting lovely, delicate, (notwithstanding somewhat a niggling dark) pictures with lyrics about romance, in songs From A Tire Swing,andHurry Dorsum Tonight, battling your inner demons in Devil andKnee Deep besides as, of course, learning your shit similar inHolidays. An example of the lovely pictures they can pain is with Back To Bedand how I literally feel like getting dorsum to bed with my girlfriend and sleeping for days at a time. At some bespeak inTake Your Time I fall in love with the guitarist and the unique sounds that Justin Camacho plays. I adore Lydia which is why I purchase their music without having to listen to information technology first.
Every bit always, a beautiful album made past a talented band. You don't need to heed to their former stuff to truly appreciate their music and unique audio. I love all these songs simply I keep gettingDevil, Back To Bed, Holidays,andFrom A Tire Swingstuck in my head (which is fine by me). To be honest, I haven't heard much about Maria Sais de Sicilia or of Bears of Manitou and I want to say that I'm a fan of her but I'grand non sure if I am.Carouselisn't a bad start for a solo career but is a chip odd. Every so often while listening to one of the songs on this album, something changes that also bothers me and I switch songs.
For songs like St. Teresa and wildfire, at that place is a lot of repetition and gets annoying very easily. I find that for all of the songs, the instruments drown out her vocalism and makes it hard to sympathize the lyrics she'due south singing without feeling the need to wait them upwardly. I volition acknowledge that Maria has a very beautiful phonation and she uses it to her advantage, but for songs like,Magnolia, Someday,andSt. TeresaI feel similar they are a flakelikewiseho-hum for her vocalization. If the tempo was a chip quicker I recall that it would have fabricated these songs much better. Another affair that makes it very difficult for me to understand the words or even relish the songs is that there is an echo of sorts of her vocalization on every song. Fifty-fifty though I do like songs that have this awesome effect because sometimes it does brand the song better simply in this case, it just takes abroad from information technology. A few songs audio good with the repeat like,Happy,while others sounds odd and hard to pay attention to.

I have to acknowledge, I used to think that this band was not worth my fourth dimension. I thought they were going to let me down because I love Lydia and Copeland was such an astonishing band.
